Description

Boulet Men's Bomber and Ambergold Square Toe Boot 9346

Boulet boots are renowned for their unsurpassed quality, with every pair handcrafted respecting the old traditions of bootmaking. All adult boots are entirely leather lined for greater comfort. Boulet boots have been handmade in Canada since 1933.

  • Wide Square Toe
  • Stockman 1 1/4" Heel with Spur Ledge
  • Injected Leather Outsoles
  • Removable Cushion Insole
  • Double Stitch Welt
  • 13" Shaft in Rough Rider Ambergold Leather
  • Shrunken Bomber Leather Vamp
  • Pull Tabs and Finger Loops

Boulet Boots fit about 1/2 a size big. For example, if you normally wear a size 10 shoe, you should consider taking a size 9.5 in Boulet. Everyone’s feet are made different, so there can be exceptions but typically this is the rule of thumb for Boulet Boots.

The Injected Leather Sole is a leather sole that has a rubber section in the middle. This gives you the benefit of a leather sole, but with a bit more traction and abrasion resistance.

Boulet Boots are manufactured by using the Goodyear Welt process. As can be seen on the left side, the sole is stitched to the welt which is itself stitched to the vamp and the insole. The gap between the insole and the outsole is filled with cork that gradually matches the footprint. The result is a fine quality product, recognized by those looking for comfortable footwear.

Boot Care:

We suggest wiping your boots with a non-abrasive cloth (with a little bit of water if necessary) to get rid of any dirt. Do not dry them directly or too close to/on a hot surface. Do not put them in direct sunlight to dry. Your boots have already been treated. We would recommend that after you have worn them for a few weeks, or several days to do the following (always try the product on a small inconspicuous spot on the boot, before applying all over): You can treat them with a neutral boot cream or wax to prevent the leather from drying over time, and keep them looking nice. If you are going to wear them in a lot of wet conditions, you could use something like beeswax. Mink oil is very effective as well, when worn in wet or humid environments, but be careful because it can darken the leather and give it a wet look that could remain greasy and sticky.
